It wouldnt be that big of a metagame shift, Rock-types would have a resistance to it, that's about it. (Since bug-type weilders dont often stay in on rock-types anyhow) And Scizor would stilly wreck Rock-types lol.

I want more pure flying types, they would be awesome! Or a Flying/Fight!

Dinoloom would be pretty beastly... but I doubt it would prevail in Ubers. And if the metagame can survive Scizor running rampant & the dawn of Terrakion (who has a similar amount of weaknesses) and a Multiscale DNite it could manage a way around Dinoloom. Plus Gliscor counters it, as does any Magic Bounce Pokemon as well as they could possibly create a pokemon that is a complete shut down to it. Like one that has a status immunity ability

I'd use Dinoloom just to piss off Scizor users (And a resistance to grass, neutrality to bug, and resistance to dark and electric. But a weakness to Ice, and Fire, and nearly no way to effectively hit Dragon types would ruin it's sweep. Only Stone Edge/Rock Tomb would do it)
I nominate Fog to be the new weather! And the need for a new Auto Hail inducer.

*Lightbulb* Fog becomes a new weather. Introduce pokemon who are instant fog starters and one's that get faster/heal in fog. It would be the ultimate!!

If the Rock-type resisted itself and bug torkoal's evo should be that (and give it solid rock, insta super wall-- plus Torkoal would get the evoilite boost). Alas, it doesnt... the only problem with pure fire is the weakness to Rock (stealthrock -_-)... it would make it difficult to be a wall. Torkoal evo would also need a reliable recovery move (like Slugma, its gets Recover!!)

Dinoloom wouldnt be that bad. It's typing is so easily exploited, and it is Taunt bait. Though Techni-Dinoloom would probably make Scizor nearly obselete lol.

And another question, how does the Rock-type not resist Rock and Bug type attacks?? I've never heard of a bug that can wreck rocks, and I'm pretty sure rocks can handle other rocks
