If you got rocks up, my Hound would've died and then you would've switched in Krow and then... I'm not sure what I would've done. I think I would've got in Lanturn or Sandslash to attempt to KO Krow. Idk, things would've definitely been different, though.
The reason I didn't switch was because the Houndoom was already near dead, and I didn't really need him anymore. So I decided, if you use Sucker Punch, oh well, no big deal. But if you sub up you could potentially sweep and I didn't want that to happen, so I stayed in a went for the kill.

I was actually pretty good at competitive battling during Gen 4, but once 5th gen. came around... I lost it or something :P

Lol, it's not the worst, it's just harder to communicate with others since most are EST. And, I agree, the weekend would be the best time. Maybe around like, 10 PM GMT -5 since that's like, the afternoon for you (right?)?
