also we're apparently arguing the wrong thing; they want to ban it to remain consistent. Well not really, I got jabba to confess that he wants to ban it because he dislikes luck, but that was how they rationalized it in their minds. iirc their shit argument was something like "if we change evasion clause then what will we do with moody" and i tried to convince them but nothing i said worked.

you're eloquent and also badged so if you can convince them to go along with your simple reword of evasion clause, it would keep moody, DT, and Minimize banned while unbanning the other things.

of course since Jabba basically said "fuck the CDM I hate luck" it will be difficult to convince him not to ban the abilities just because he's a bitch about hax, but if anyone can do it it would be you. i have faith. we can stop smogon from being banhappy sons of bitches

I want to thank you here for your points in the Evasion thread. We think a lot alike, good sir (or madam of you're female; on the Internet you can never be sure), and I'm glad you can more eloquently state the goofiness of Evasion madness.

I mean, what Maestro is saying was true. However, the things that each set can do are different. Actually, if it's ok, may I just revamp the Starmie analysis? Rapid Spin set does the same thing as the Life Orb set, so I wanted to merge those two. If people think that Scarf and Specs should go together, I could do that, but personally I think they deserve separate mentions. Anyways, thanks!
