I saw someone using Hail semi-successfully, but he said he perferred not having to be forced to use abomasnow, and the hail was a hinderance more then a boon.

Well no we tried team building and we always ended up with we need Specs Ogre switch-in, ghost, and scarfer. Conveniently SpD Gira-a + Scarfer and Ghostceus + Scarf Kia filled those two holes nicely but I gave up after we couldn't decide that. I'll be happy to build another team though, can't get on PO to test or stuff nearly as often though due to school, but smogon and IRC is a different story...

Stall 2 utterly destroys rain stall and classic stall (this if it has Sub) lacking Specs ogre also :P. Deo-D destroyed stall last gen when Dragon Tail wasn't out too, if only it could afford that slot for Sub...

Like lets say someone made a research week on Ubers Toxicroak. It might work but point is no one's used it to success before. So yeah trolled. Obamasnow actually got an analysis last gen IIRC, but it sucks now since Ferrotroll exists, it makes sense why it was picked but they might've been able to pick "something that actually works on paper thats never been discovered too".

Stall is dominant but WHAT YOU TALKING ABOUT NO HAX? My lugia gets critted by random SD Groudon that have been reflected on o.o.

OK firstly about Stall 2, the reason why its so awesome, is because it sets up dual screens, can very easily break stall (unless stall has heatran but thats fixed with a Kyogre), and its near impossible to OHKO (even Specs Kyogre fails to OHKO and can only manage a 2HKO since it will Light Screen before it can Spout, if it runs Sub ogre runs out of pp.)

Sub phaze lugia is -_- I'd think of going with Chansey Lugia core + Stall two to break stall, some kind of Kyogre to break down those annoying Heatran. You'd only need a steel for Dragons and then can select from a wide variety of Specs Ogre switch-ins then.

Abomasnow is pretty "meh". The idea of research week is to encourage new discoveries in Ubers though, hail is anti-meta I guess, but anti-meta sucks.

Since most of the important stuff has already been discovered (ubers is too balanced!), research week will probably end up failing all the time.

And im NOT ok with playing our match on the Pokemon Online server because NBS is the only approved simulator for GSC (as described here: http://www.smogon.com/tournaments/spl/rules).
