alright so I do need to set my date two days ahead for the journal to appear right? So let me write this down so I know I'm doing it right:

1 - Save in front of the daycare man
2 - Soft Reset taking note of the time
3 - Mash A until you get through the continue screen
4 - Exit out of the Journal (since it'll pop up due to the date advancement)
5 - Immediately press A to get the egg
6 - Then Fly to an area with high level Pokes (I usually go to the route above Resort area)
7 - Catch then enter the data like you would in the Calibration phase
8 - Hatch find out IVs and look for your frame
9 - Rinse and repeat?

I just want to be VERY CLEAR lol so I don't mess up

Nope I'm stuck there... This step:
7 Reset your game, and then immediately cancel the Journal and collect the egg. Remember to speak to the Daycare man as quickly as you can as the frame starts to increase as soon as the Journal is canceled.
8 Encounter a wild Pokémon as quickly as possible.
9 Catch the encountered Pokémon.
10 Select "Breeding (DPPt)" and then click "Generate" with this initial seed.

I don't get where it's getting the seed. Am I supposed to be watching at what time I soft reset? And also do I have to encounter a high level pokemon again? Again I don't know what initial seed it's talking about since I never got one to begin with all I did was reset cancel the journal talk to the guy and then I caught a pokemon in the route above the town...and now I'm stuck =/

I finally got an Adamant Machop with No Gaurd =).

Alright I did it ten times...but before we go on should I do it 10 more times just to be safe? I don't mind but if it doesn't matter I'd rather just move on to my next step =)

Yes it is. There's NO WAY I'm going to attempt this on HG/SS until I fully understand it lol.

Also I see people getting near flawless IVs but when I input certain data into the RNG Report I can't get any flawless spreads maybe two stats with 31 in them but the rest won't. What all factors into me getting flawless IVs in DPPt

I have....=/ thing is as I read and "Get" everything somewhere along the lines I'll forget what something means for example "Delay" "Target Time" and I'll have to go back to figure it out. I'm a much better learner with a "Teacher" or a "Hands on Guide" lol like I said I can RNG for shiny Eggs no problem. But as I look through the Forum I see people getting near flawless Pokemon and I can't seem to make any of those appear on the RNG Report. I just need help getting the gist of things. Again sorry if it's a bother...not meaning to bug or anything.

Hi there! I know this is random but I'm having difficulty with learning how to RNG...I can RNG shiny eggs but I fail at getting perfect IVs...I was wondering if you could help out...lol any help is appreciated...sorry for the randomness no reply needed sorry if it's a bother...

I think you would have to advance it through outside the cave because Sweet Scent only works if there are wild pokemon. Sweet Scenting on a bike (not on a bike can be inconsistent because it depends on the pokemon following you) advance by 1 frame. However, the battle itself advances the frame to the actual frame of the pokemon you just fought + 6. So if you Sweet Scented in the very beginning, you would be on frame 2. If the actual frame of frame 2 is 14, then you add 6 to that. Your current frame would be 20. You can rinse and repeat this in order to advance the frame fairly easy. So if you sweet scent again, the pokemon would be on frame 21. If the actual frame of frame 21 is 132, then you add 6 to that and your current frame would be 138.

I only use the lower right station because there have been some reports that others are a bit inconsistent and I don't wanna have to repeat because of inconsistent radio.
