It started a long time ago, when HeartGold and SoulSilver had first come out. Bulbagarden forums had a little Team Rocket Takeover sort of RP thing for a week or so afterward. He signed on the Rocket side, while I sided with the resistance, and I used a concept from an old ROM hack project I had worked on in the past to create Team Aero. Eventually, it ended with Team Rocket's defeat. It was around then I first signed up for Smogon and made the Aero branch here.
Then one of Battlestar's friends opened a Team Rocket group and claimed the fight was not over. It was not until later I was told Battlestar had planned that. So Aero and Rocket fought for a while, and eventually the BMGf mods grew tired of it, and made a rule banning "team style" social groups. As a result, I moved Team Aero here. Come to find out, he had already been here.
