I noticed how much better i felt about myself after i left school
I was always bigger (like taller and big bones) than all the kids in my classes
and my appearance always stood out
So teachers would either hate me or love me
The teachers who hated me would treat me like crap, call me out on stuff
And the teachers who loved me babied me and while they meant well, it made me feel singled out
Curse the media's portrayal of "Gingers" too
And my teachers treating me differently than all the other kids

when i was younger, i thought i was ugly, I hated my hair, my freckles, my shoe size, my height. I felt like i stood out too much
