  • yeah of course we want to play the Vikings, but I'm really not too worried about the Seahawks. I don't even really think they'll beat the RG3s this week.

I think Reid's smart enough to realize Jamaal is by far the Chiefs' best player and will be able to utilize him nicely. I know he's gotten a lot of hate for his playcalling, but for basically his entire career he's had a qb good enough to call a lot of passes. I think he'll be fine for them, not enough to put them over the top but someone that will maintain the status quo mediocrity that the Eagles have had for so long.
heyyy i have legit reasons for thinking the falcons will win the games i said they'd win!

actually i was gonna go through and basically count what teams everybody picked once the games start next saturday just like you did... don't expect to see much difference besides for the afc 60% broncos 35% pats 5% other, and for the nfc something like 30% seahawks 30% packers 20% 49ers 20% other. i dunno the seahawks seemed like pretty heavy favorites so far, everyone's forgetting how bad they are on the road x)

i can't remember much about the cards, they've been irrelevant since we played them in october... i think they might have an injury or two, and they definitely need to draft a o-lineman, but really there's a lack of depth there this year and they'll only get 1-2 shots to fix their line. ideally they'd get a qb, even if it is someone like matt flynn or something. beggars can't be choosers.

maybe reid could fix kolb? i don't even know.
who are they gonna draft/sign to get them a better QB? they only have a couple picks to shore up the O-Line, and rookie starters aren't usually the best. the cards may eventually turn the corner but unless kolb starts playing well it won't be soon.
like I said twenty minutes before the interception/roughing the passer even happened, the cowboys find the most gut wrenching ways to lose x)
man I felt for the giants after that game too, but they didn't lose close matchup after close matchup and nobody jumped on Eli's back like they do Romo's
naw I turned it off to play some gears after that roughing the passer

I hate hate hate the romo hate. feel really bad for the guy :c they really should have made the playoffs but they had a couple tough losses where minor mistakes fucked 'em over
he's ok against the run but he takes off a lot of first downs... regardless him potentially being out is pretty huge

    I don't blame you though
new orleans > carolina > tampa is what espn says so idfk

we just looked bad, hard to motivate a team in a meaningless game. we were also pretty vanilla, and i might be fooling myself but i think we were trying to "trick" anyone watching game tape on us for the first playoff game. we did some pretty predictable things (ie blitz every single third down) and our cb got hurt really early... just concerned about john abraham's injury :x
no I mean, I've been a falcons fan for my entire life but I wasn't a hardcore fan until '07 ish. used to watch every other falcons game maybe, but since '07 i've only missed two (the last two games in '07 were blacked out :c)

i don't mind the nfc east hype, i even fell victim to it for the second year in a row lol
it helps when your stadium seats 100,000+ people. the cowboys are "america's team" and have a lot of bandwagon fans compared to their number of hardcore fans.

my dad was a falcons fan, so i guess i've been a fan all my life. didn't start watching pro football though until '07, so my first year where i really cared we were abysmal. been uphill ever since though!

a new OC would do a lot for the team. or maybe a new watch for eli that makes him think every quarter is the fourth quarter???
not terribly expensive, the only hard to get seats in the nfl are in green bay and new england

i think the giants will beat the eagles, might not be enough to save the oc's job cuz they'll probably need a scapegoat at the end of the year to fire. think we'll hear people calling for coughlin's job, just like every other year? lol
confession time: like you, I have never been to a Falcons game (despite living near atlanta) so don't feel bad

you know the giants still have a shot at the playoffs right? Chicago sux, and both Dallas and Minnesota will probably lose. There's still hope!
i did not play 1 much, 2 was my first in the series. i own it and went back to it but it's just so clunky i can't play it at all.

i am a southern hick at heart so i <3 dizzy
guardian on pavilion in gears 2 was the greatest thing ever, and it was pretty awesome on river and jacinto too

haven't decided if i want judgement though, i kinda hate epic for how they shafted gears 3 (only worked on the game until the last dlc was released in march, then they stopped giving a fuck)
i can wall bounce pretty well, but up until yesterday i haven't played in months so i'm still pretty rusty. usually only use it when it's like a 3 on 1 and my shit's about to get fucked though.

in a perfect world free of lag, gears 2 would be better imo. sawed off/retro kinda make me mad at 3, even if i whore the retro out something awful these days. sadly gears 2 is laggy as hell even on really good hosts. the internet connection at my school is godlike so it was almost flawless when i was hosting there, but at home if i ever manage to pick up host everyone else has like 3-4 seconds of lag. not fun.

really a lot of the reason i do so well is because i almost always play in a group of friends. alone i'm kinda iffy, i usually just jump between lobbies until i find one with some scrubs lol
    pfft as if

got all the chievos in 2+3 except seriously 3.0 (fuck that lol) and have like a 2.0 k/d overall online, give or take in each playlist though i usually only play koth or guardian
not watchan, playing gears of war lol

I blame the shitty play earlier on the weather though... it's usually a bad sign when the rain is visible on the tv
100% sure? that'd probably require trips to lambeau and atlanta or at home against seattle and @san fran. even the '72 dolphins would be scared with either of those outcomes :x
nu i meant the giants running the ball in the 3rd quarter

of course they had a much higher yard/rush than the falcons so !

are you really fine with that defense??? they only stopped like 2/9 falcons drives i think, not counting the ends of the halves. of course you can't expect the d-line to be invisible every game like they were this game I guess but
also it's kinda hard to mount a comeback when you have the ball for a total of 6 plays after the 7 minute mark in the 3rd quarter
"why are they still running the ball, it's not really working"

also it was kinda deja vu from the playoff game... the falcons coulda kicked field goals to at least prevent the shutout, and the giants had 3 chances in this game but went for it instead of kicking
