    Hi, I do not need redistribution rights for your Scyther--although she is a lovely Pokemon--I tend to try to not trade other people's pokes. Would you be fine with a regular 1:1 trade?

    What I was trying to say is that I'll still trade the first two, Lapras and Sharpedo with semi-redis rights (freebies!), and the other two, Darkrai and Shaymin, for the two I wanted. :)

    I am going to rebred Sharpedo so it has HP Grass tomorrow, so it'll replace the current one in my thread. Would you rather have that one? :P

    So from your post earlier it is 'impossible' for me to catch a quint flawless Timid? In other words, I will have to abuse my PID/SID to receive such a spread?

    but it IS easier. It's just that you can't get shiny quintflawless pokes all the time. If you were going for non shiny it would take 10-15 mins or even less depending on how fast you hit your seed. And yes, there are some pokes that you can only catch and not breed (like legends) but to have a matching ball is cool sometimes :)

    If I can't get quint flawless, wouldn't I be better off just breeding? I mean, I can breed in 30-45 minutes on average for a shiny flawless.

    I guess I have to learn this for stuff like Mewtwo =)

    Haha, that's because, unlike breeding, you can not get flawless spreads with your ID/SID all the time. It's hard to find a few usable spreads, let alone quintflawless. That's why people abuse for their ID/SID combo.

    When you search for spreads, I would recommend you going higher than that, try at least 600-1200 for delays.

    Ok, so I did a search with your ID/SID on Timid nature with these parameters 20/0/25/27/25/27. The best I got was this:

    Seed: af1705ce 21/31/25/31/29/31 HP Dark 49
    Seed: 9d0904de 30/7/30/31/31/29 HP Ice 64

    Again, getting good shiny spreads is very difficult and it's just based on luck. If you are planning to capture something with those spreads you will still have to check if they exist for Method J (not all Method 1 spreads are available for Method J) and also check the which encounter slots you have for that given spread. I'll be able to help you later when I get back home if you have more questions

    I see, first of all I wouldn't recommend you using the Time finder because it takes ages and doesn't find everything. What you need is Wichu's PokeRNG program. There you can get faster (waaaaay faster) results with higher delays.

    Second, usually for shiny spreads, you'll have to learn to hit delays outside +/- 5 your average delay. Why? Because shiny spreads are very rare so the chance of you having a shiny spread with your small delay range and with the (probably high) stats you are looking is very very small. Download Wichu's program or JavaRNG (Wichu's faster although JavaRNG is more user friendly I guess) to get your shiny spreads first. Then you can VM me again with more questions
