TBH, I kinda want to run it if you let me. I like the flow of the Pike with the player getting prepared for one single battle and trying to win with whatever is left. It messes around a lot with strategy which I find cool.

So yeah, I'd like to take over if you let me. In that case, what should be done? Should the council be notified, do I just hijack the thread or what?

The Pike sucks. At least challenging the Pike sucks. That is why nobody does it anymore.

I mean, take Pwnemon's challenge. He got 3 battles and Lucy and several ills. Because of those ills the end result (assuming he doesn't surprise me) is 3CC and 3KOC. While for the same 3 1vs1 matches + 1 3vs3 match you would get 5CC and 18MC. For the hall you would get 6CC and 6KOC for the 3 battles alone.

Sure if he won against Lucy he would get like 19CC and 15KOC, but most doesn't. I see what Lou have done, but I think he was too radical. Having a good prize if you win doesn't change the fact that if luck screws with you (likely), you will get pretty much nothing and that is extremely frustating. I think the prizes should be changed to be more balanced at least (so a loss isn't that terrible while a victory isn't that OMFG LOTTERY).

I don't know. It just seems wrong.

Question regarding Gold Pike: Do you mind if I put the pokemon with max or near-maxed movepools? Since it is Gold Pike, I thought it would be a good choice.

I intend to finish all mons this weekend. I am basically getting the trained versions of the mons from trainers (Tiamat from Zarator, Haxorus from AOPSUser, Syclant from Rediamond etc) and adjusting whatever.

Actually, It is your turn to order against orcinus, so the whole "wait for DQ to pass" thing does not really apply... :S

Also, you do not get the Fire Gym Badge if you decide you want to win by DQ, so...You did want a Fire Badge, right?

Finally, asking orcinus about the match is a lost cause, since I cannot VM him, his PM Inbox is full, & it is unlikely he will come on IRC any time soon. -.-'

With no speed EV, it reaches 12 speed, which is nice to outspeed things like frillish and hippopotas and OHKO them with seed bomb. Most other EVs are put in HP. The only problem? Oran Berry isn't gonna fully heal.
protect is here as it's better to stop fake out from mienfoo, which is OHKOed by extremespeed as well as timburr. Substitute doesn't really have any use and it's slow as fuck to use return and the only other option is lolrocksmash.

The only real problem with that Ziggy set is that oran berry doesn't fully heal. I tried other various EVs, but most of them doesn't have the staying power this ziggy has... Blame the lack of eviolite.
