  • i'll probably just continue it in spirit in the healthy lifestyle thread, you're welcome to do the same - god knows we could use more running discussion in there
worth a bump though...? i've been injured for the duration of it otherwise i'd have contributed something more but ehhhhh, typical new year response by everybody really - plenty of enthusiasm in early January and then forget all about it by February. c'est la vie.
If we can't get this done today, we'll have to wait until Thursday. I've got the whole day to myself then so name a time and i'll be there.
I'm Gmt -6, so any night I'm on sometime from 9-12pm. This Friday I'll be on from like 4-12pm if that works for ya!
Hey, we have a tourney match. Let me know what day & time works best for ya and we'll figure it out.
that archers of loaf song is probably my favourite of the songs i posted, i'm glad you like it. did you download icky mettle? 'representative of youth' is really the best way of putting it, it's so sloppy and genuine. sadly i don't know of any albums that really sound like it, but something that comes kind of close in a weird way is blood on the wall's awesomer. i really think that they're one of the most criminally unknown bands of the 2000s, and all three of their albums are incredible in different ways.

blood on the wall - reunite on ice

this isn't even one of the better tracks off awesomer, but it's one of like three of their songs that's on youtube, so it'll have to do. they sound almost identical to the pixies, but that kind of honesty is refreshing in a sea full of bands that pretend that they aren't aping the pixies. their first album is a bit less polished and their third is a bit more, but i think awesomer strikes the balance perfectly. it doesn't really sound much like icky mettle but for some reason they remind me of each other, maybe you'll like it.
I'm very sorry about that, I was way too busy with work. I just got home.

What would be a good time for you? We'll do this at your convenience.
sorry for the delay, lost my internet for a while. here's some stuff i've been vibing lately. 'll try to not repeat stuff i've posted in threads before but i will most likely not succeed.

Pero si hoy no es el mejor día para que juguemos, si quieres podemos jugar mañana. Yo la verdad es que he dormido poco y tengo algo de sueño.
Pero si tú quieres, seguimos adelante y jugamos cuando llegues a tu casa.
at my fastest i was never as big as people might have you believe, but i did have about 40lbs on you at the same height (5 foot 7 fuck yeah).

most important thing is keeping your calories at a surplus, if you're lifting and running you should be eating stupid amounts. GOMAD is your friend. with regards to stronglifts your biggest problem is gonna be incorporating squats (and to a lesser but still noteworthy extent, deadlifts) into your routine because after doing them you'll probably be far too fucked to run the next day. everybody ever who lifts will tell you that you HAVE to do your leg work but those people probably don't run 50 miles a week, right? a popular routine right now is layne nortons:

    http://www.simplyshredded.com/mega-feature-layne-norton-training-series-full-powerhypertrophy-routine-updated-2011.html

but if you were to do the leg power day on tuesday, i doubt you'd be able to run on wednesday or probably thursday either and then you're right into the leg hypertrophy day so thats probably you not running over the weekend. you'll find that problem with all routines, the trick is cutting your losses and training upper body in the gym and lower body out on the trail. nobody will second this as it flies in the face of one of the golden rules of bodybuilding but it's the only way i found that works. consider that when building your routine, you could maybe fit in squats once a week as they'll be great for your speed but make sure it fits around your running. you can run and lift but never forget which one is priority.

only advice i can give, sorry i can't help more, it was just mostly hard work and stubborness i'm afraid
sorry no time to help you or anyone else. just go on rym and look up genres you like or charts.
