I just make sure the ship is running nicely, sit tight and happy there, while it sends out jets and stuff to take out all the bad guys.

My work isn't really involved in fighting the enemy directly. It's focused on keeping the ship running so that if it goes out to fight someone, it's running smoothly and can send forth its awesome power to make things happen.

For the job I'm in, there's obviously risk -- there's one with any job. However, nuclear reactors are a LOT safer than what they used to be, and once I get out to sea, I'll be on the biggest ships out there (which are nuclear-powered). So no, my field isn't as risky as most others. Just a lot more demanding on time and effort -- especially during training.

It's actually pretty cool. I'm in school for my job right now, so it's naturally long and tough, especially in the field that I went into. Otherwise, you actually have some time during the day for yourself.

It's just like any other job. You work, you've got time off, but it's a lot more than that. You get to work for your country, you get paid really good, and after training, you get to go out and see places you would only see in National Geographic -- not to mention the other benefits you get.

Here, it's a little more strict than a normal civilian job. You've got plenty of rules to follow, but most of them are small, and you easily fall into the habit of just going along with them and making your day a bit easier.

It may not be all fun and games, but there is still time to go out and have some fun.

Not any more buddy, your lucky if you get something besides the trophy, travel award, and the complementary trading card nowadays. I started to want to do VGC because that's the only competitive Pokemon I knew before Smogon. So guess I'm locked into it now.

Last october 20th out of 100. This April I plan to take top 4. PLAN, if my mom will drive me.
