  • You just can't stay away from Dragonite, can you? No matter what captures your fancy, Dragonite is always there, ready to come back at any moment.
Yeah, Substitute is such a great move, to be honest. The ability to shield yourself and potentially go one-to-one against something you normally couldn't is a fantastic asset to a good host of pokemon. I never really considered it a possibility on Forretress, but apparently it works well. : )
Yeah, I can understand why you'd want to keep Toxic. The ability to break down walls can be pretty crucial, especially for helping Kingdra. So Shadow Ball on Celebi? Interesting...

Personally I hate Forretress, but I can see why it works for you. It was pretty hilarious to see it set up Substitute when Amoonguss switched in. I imagine that's great for grabbing momentum.
Huh. So if you're not using Heatran as a Stealth Rocker, you do have that free space for whatever you want. Between Roar and Toxic, it's a pretty tough choice. It kind of depends on whether you want to stop set up sweepers and rack up hazard damage or break down walls as well as bulkier sweepers. There isn't really a right or wrong here.

Also, just for fun, some other possible options are Flame Charge for making Heatran a pseudo sweeper, and Taunt for shutting down walls, hazard setters and set up sweepers.
Haha I'm far from a legend lol. I'm just a battler that finds it easy to win because often times many can't handle the mind games I play on people. I still have a problem with being cocky when I think I'm winning, and I need to learn to stay attentive until the last Pokemon stands.
Ok, good luck! Oh, and thanks for the additions to the Underrated Threats discussion. If only we had more active members like you...
Hey I just wanted to say good job again! Not many people can beat me on their first attempt since I seem to confuse the fuck out of people, but you did just fine. Hope you get to the finals!
Yeah, I'm not sure if Kingdra is really meant to be a wallbreaker. It's more of a sweep-once-your-opponents-team-is-weakened-and-counters-have-been-removed type of pokemon. I mean, let's face it; a wallbreaker that requires a turn of set up isn't really a wallbreaker, now is it?
    Wow, weird coincidence, huh?
So, what do you think of Kingdra? Outside of the lack of power thing, has it been doing good?
Well, do whatever you think works best. Though seriously, did you read my Kingdra post in Surviving Weather before you made your team?
Huh. I'm not sure exactly how to solve that issue, unless you maybe want to try, like, Wise Glasses? I think those boost special moves, but not as much as Life Orb. Or you could try what Halcyon did for his Breloom and run something like Mystic Water...?
Honestly I really wish I could have seen more of that Kingdra in action. I think it has a lot of untapped potential in OU and I thought it was really cool that you were using one for the tournament. What kind of set are you using on it?
Ah. Well I'm not necessarily the best at that, but I'll see what I can do.

Looking back at that battle you had with Gary, I felt that you were put under a lot of pressure once you lost Kingdra. Part of that happened because you let Kingdra get burned by Rotom-W. Not to mention it could have possibly had Thunder Wave, and that would have just ruined Kingdra.

My advice would be to be more careful with Kingdra. Try not to set up in front of something that can status it and can't be swiftly taken out by Kingdra. A better opportunity might have been to try and set up on Heatran, for example. Well, that's all I can really say. Hope I helped and Good Luck in the tournament. : )
you better believe it I'm good(not trying to brag tho)
and yeath I won prepare for a rough time
Hurry up and get your parents away lol. The PS server was just reset, so there's like no lag.
I've decide to try sub+calm mind dusknoir on showdown in RU.

It destroyed half of this guy's sunny day team.
