You put the original text in both, and then you edit the one of the right side. Afterwards, you click Diff! and the program will show all the edits you made.
I did this yesterday, so you can sort of see what they want. (I'm not entirely sure though, it was my first, but I think it was okay.)

What jello? I learned a tiny bit of programming last summer, but I sucked at it and gave up. I've decided! I want to actually contribute to Smogon, and I'm going to try to become part of the Grammar-Prose team (I did my first amateur check yesterday!)
