uh, I suppose it would be avoiding switching as much as possible. that's why hazards are such a pain for stall; switching is really important, and if your checks/counters for opposing Pokemon start taking Stealth Rock/Spikes damage, they become easier and easier to wear down and beat. for sure though, in NU, the best way to handle hazards are keeping them from being set to begin with. but once they are up and you can't do anything about it, there's not a lot, imo, outside of avoiding switching that you can do. you can always try and use mons that don't mind hazards so much, but for the most part in NU, those are few and far between. If it's not weak to Rocks, it won't like Spikes.
