Do you find it interesting that there're some people who have (to an extent) died in complete vain? Just think, while there actions have been performed, they themselves are not remembered by anybody currently alive. For example, take a European Peasant living in the year 1000. I doubt that anybody's family tree goes that far back to a peasant. This peasant lived, died, accomplished things, and has to be remembered as a collective group of people. Could you imagine if all of your efforts were, in the future, only recognized as those of a collective group of people? There were people who lived and died and there names aren't even remembered.
