It's working as designed as far as I can tell. it's just that, for some reason, Talonflame only has two significant teammates.

It happens for p much every Pokemon though so idk ?? o.o?

Is this problem contained to just one or two moveset stats? Because Pokebank OU looked fine to me.

That's what you'd expect: if everyone (and their dog) is using Talonflame, there are going to be very few teammates that stick out.

It's not only Talonflame though haha. Even Klefki (#25) gets l Furfou? idk.

Anyway is there a thread or some documentation about how teammates are calculated? I checked September's OU usage and yea Scizor had Deino as a teammate LOL so I guess you're right xD sorry for the trouble! >_>!

It's pretty straightforward statistics. Say Talonflame is used on 50% of teams and Aegislash is used on 30% of teams. Then look at all the teams with both Talonflame AND Aegislash and compare that to the expected (30%). If it's actually higher, then they're teammates. For the actual math, it's P(X|Y)-P(X).

Math is awesome haha. So that ends up with P(X n Y) - P(X)*P(Y) so if P(X n Y)>P(X)*P(Y) then they're teammates ? Isn't the expected 15% anyway haha. I think I sorta get it. If the real value is less than the expected value then they just happen to be on the same team or am I wrong? haha xD

Sorry, typo. The expected is indeed 15%. But yes, if if P(X|Y)>P(X)*P(Y), then they're teammates. But note that P(X|Y)-P(X) is not necessarily equal to P(Y|X)-P(Y), even though both should have the same sign.
