this is actually what the seasonals are, swiss with a top 8 single elim cut. We stole this format from official nintendo regionals, because they use the same one :P and yes, it is fucking intense and fun as hell when you do it IRL

doubles r3, unless you can play like 6:00 pm to 6;30 pm or 9:15 to 9:30 pm my time(gmt +8) then we have to ask for a 1 day extension. for me to play on saturday morning
