    Too offensive, i don't like it. All it does is make Nidoking an unstopabble wallbreaker, as now not even Chansey and Blissey can wall it, and don't need more of those.

    Hey, alexwolf, would you mind explaining to me what you find broken about Baton Pass? I'm not arguing or anything, I'm just unclear on how it is broken. Whenever you get a chance could you please help me understand?
    How about electrify electivire? I don't think it would be that broken since you have to use it against something slower and electivire has to ditch a coverage move.

    Thx for the suggestion, but Electivire needs more than that to be viable, so i am going to pass on this one.

    I just thought of one: Simple Quagsire. It fits the bill perfectly flavor-wise and it doesn't make Quagsire broken. Quagsire now has three usable abilities, meaning it can use Unaware instead of Simple if it would like. But imagine the Curses or Stockpiles, coupled with Recover would just make it a monster! It is C-rank, so it would be eligible as well.

    Apparently you're hurting for good suggestions, and while I don't think my suggestion is good, others might think otherwise, so I might as well leave it here.

    Play Rough has a secondary effect. Granbull doesn't have a good ability that'd really help offense (unless I'm underestimating the benefits of boosting base 45 speed). Maybe having one would give it a better niche.
    How would Fight/Ghost Golurk with dual STAB priority sound? Strong irrestitable priority STAB, one of which is boostable Iron Fist. While elec immunity is lost and Fae weakness is gained, Ice and Water are no longer a major threat, nor is dark.
    If not, STAB dynamic Punch with ghost STAB is still there.

    Are those too many things to ask in one theory?

    Yeah, all of those are against the rules. You are only supposed to post one addition / change to each Pokemon, and never change the primary type of a Pokemon. Golurk is Ground / Ghost, so you can only change its Ghost typing.

    Would it be possible to consider Dark + Fairy Absol for theorymon? I think it's B- right now, and I don't think it's especially viable in OU.

    With a fairy typing, it could no longer be killed by mach punches or some u-turns. At the same time, STAB on Play Rough would give Absol a powerful stab to work with OHKOing all fighting pokemon, and being stronger than M-Mawile's after a Swords Dance had been set up.

    Just remembered only C+ and lower Pokemon on the OU viability ranking can become a theorymon. So I think Spore Virizion would be an excellent Pokemon. This might not be flavorful, but with Spore, Virizion could easily set itself from Breloom with higher Speed, as well as being able to use sets with Synthesis, Calm Mind, and Swords Dance, and having decent coverage, this could be a big buff to an overlooked Pokemon.

    When you closed the safeguard thread, you said that it was a bad move. I'm curious as to why that is. Do you mind explaining? It seems like it could have a pretty useful niche considering how we already have sleep clause and are suspect testing swagger.

    It's just a bad move, ask any decent player. Its effect is too situational to matter, and you could spend that one turn for way better things, such as setting up hazards, boosting, setting up a Sub, throwing out status, attacking, or healing. Each of those options are better than using Safeguard 99% of the time, which is why Safeguard is such a bad and never used move.

    Sorry to bother, but I had a question. When it comes to theorymon, can change only be applied to Pokemon, or to any game aspect? For example, buffing water pulse to a higher bp (say, 80ish) or buffing mega launcher to boost more would help blastoise offensively more than any type or ability change.

    Note: I'm not actually trying to suggest theorymoning mega blastoise, i know its rank, just trying to clarify

    I have a suggestion for the next theorymon. You know that worthless ability Stall that Sableye gets? Well, what if we gave it to Slaking? No more truant, but with a less terrible ability means that slaking could be viable in OU. What does this mean for OU? Well, after doing some calcs, I found that an assault vest slaking could switch into the lati twins rather easily and pursuit trap them.

    Sounds as a decent idea and fits design-wise, though i worry it may be a bit OP, as Slaking has tremendous bulk, power, Slack Off, Bulk Up, and offensive movepool. Will think about it a bit more and i may include it, thx!

    Well if that doesn't work then may I also suggest Technician Weavile? The pokemon is already mediocre in OU currently some sort of offensive ability would be nice for it.

    Technician is definitely a better option, but i am afraid that Beat Up would be too strong with Technician. For example, a fully powered Beat Up from Jolly LO Weavile would do 54% damage minimum on Skarmory, which is simply ridiculous.

    Well Beat Up does get weaker as more pokemon faint and fairy types still give it trouble not to mention it's typing is awful defensively still.

    I'm thinking Gale Wings Honchkrow would be pretty epic, could also be OP though...
    It still has a rocks weakness and easily out sped by other priority users with only 71spd, and his main STAB has recoil.

    Why not Harvest Meganium it gets Sunny Day and has a decent bulk to start the sub, it makes sense or probably put something like a powder or spore move on it, it is a flower of course but doesn't seem to get any of these moves for some reason.

    I was thinking bout Drizzle Swanna as well but chose Drizzle Pelipper over it. It will be interesting to see if Alexwolf thinks either are slate worthy and if so which one. Both I think will be epic :D

    Idk guys, i think both Pokemon are pretty bad to use even with Drizzle, and SR weakness sucks, though Roost could make up for it. Might consider them for future slates, but not for now.
