absolutely never use a CP. I hate them in general, and it makes it difficult for people that know what they're doing to see the changes. I'd only ever do one for a super-experienced writer that trusted me, and amcheckers should def not imo

put both a CP and a diff..............

that way they can read the diff, then just c/p if they agree with all changes, and it's easier to change the cp if they disagree rather than removing all the check formatting/strikethrough from the diff.

of course, that's if you check by editing and then running in through diff (which is... much less tedious than the manual way and honestly is a better way to check imo). if you format your checks manually then don't bother doing a c/p.
