so if I understand correctly there is no way too know for sure unless they make an error in the cheating like for example the wrong ribbon

I don't even think they have the option for ribbons. I'm not too well versed in it, so I wouldn't completely listen to what I'm saying. But, in could be an obvious hack like a greninja with diamond storm. Or it could be something somewhat obvious, as a 31/0/31/30/31/30 HP fire jirachi from the event. I think they have set dates at least for some of the events, so maybe that way you can figure out legit or not.

lol if the can completely hack pokemon wouldnt they be able to choose the date too?

Nah, I think it has some limitations. Could be wrong, but they were able figure out some hacks through the date, including that HP fire jirachi (although, I think one having those IVs within 2 days of the event being out was enough lol).

But considering on smogon, only one person has achieved a HP fire xerneas with a spread of 31/0/31/30/31/30 since the start of X/Y, I highly doubt that a event jirachi with the exact spread, unable to be synchronized, could be done in 2 days. Besides, it was actually on a list of hacks that the guy said he created using his cyber gadget creation.

oh I dont mean I dont believe it to be an hack but I meant that it could be done someome just might be realy lucky.
for me to even get a decent one would take years because I have the worst look in the world once I was breeding a pokemon I needed a female it was an 50% chance took me literaly 137 tries. and I always have things like that so I dont even try to reset for stuff

Wow, that's unfortunate :(. My luck varies when it comes to breeding and SRing. Although, during my time soft resetting for mewtwo, I probably have tossed at least 3 mewtwos that 90% of smogonites would've kept lol.

Trying to get the best naive mewtwo on smogon :). 2 of them were pretty good and one of them was so close, but I just need to keep chugging along :].
