Well I think that was the point of him doing it--he was pointing out the hypocrisy, so that in the future, Average Joe can say, "But you didn't DQ Ray Rizzo!"

And do you think the hack checkers / registrars really want to hear that BS excuse time and time again? You went to worlds; did you compete or see the registration line?

Even at nats a couple years ago (before competitive Pokemon events was being discussed on big time radio stations like KROQ here in California), attendance was high enough to where you had to spend at least 10 minutes in line before getting to get signed in.
