This war was secretly a distraction for one particular potato to steal something from heaven. Now, in these simpler times to get to heaven all you had to do was go "up".

Of course it was the power of flight that this potato was looking for. See, the king had it all planned out, except this potato happened to return earlier than expected, during the king's monologue scene where he was babbling about leaving the rest of his race to die while he took over the world. This potato felt betrayed and took this power for himself and fled, but not before revealing the king's plans.

Leaving his friends behind, he hid for hundreds of years as to not draw the gods' attention, while civil war rocked the land of the potatoes.

While away, he was rocked by a particular nightmare. He was with his friends in class while doing some assignment, but there was always this stranger standing by. No one seemed to notice this stranger. It would always turn around, revealing what looked like the head of a Silence carved onto a potato. He was filled with dread and quickly sought his friends for help.

But slowly, they would not even realize he was there. He would call their attention, and they would look in his direction blankly. Slowly he would back away, losing his breath bit by bit until the Silence potato slew him, waking up in a cold sweat.

The aftermath of the war was not a good one. He who led the revolution was victorious, but many potatoes had lost their lives. There was still much ill blood between the two factions, so the god of the land intervened and turned the potatoes into what we know today. But this was only the first time such a transformation was necessary, as we live after the Second Transformation. To be continued

Lol my first morning consisted of someone setting off the fire alarm in the building at about 5am :P Factions, eh? Sounds like Divergent ~_~

Yeah I'm DAUNtless but note I've never read or watched Divergent but my sister loves em and to annoy her I read her books outloud over her shoulder while she is trying to read and I read dauntless
