So I just got done EV training my Garchomp and went to go get the moves for it and just found out that Garchomp can only learn outrage through an egg move and I don't have it

Actually it's fine I have a different move to replace it

What about replace Crunch with Rock Slide?

Okay, I suppose. But crunch gives dark coverage against ghosts, something gallade is weak to.

I think the 30% chance of flinch can really save a game in the end

So, what you're saying is...you prefer chance over super effective coverage? If that's why you're using the move, then just think about all the other secondary effects the rest of the team has. Infernape's flare blitz can burn, right? Magnezone's thunderbolt can paralyze. Flash cannon can lower sp. def, also. But, that's not why you chose those moves, is it? I think fainting a pokemon is overall more important than flinching them. But, if you want to do it, then do it. Remember I'm just giving you semi-adequate advice. But, in my opinion, that's not why you should use rock slide.

Oh, and crunch can lower defense, which can also save a game if garchomp can't usually KO the Pokemon.

Wouldn't Choice Scarf limit that super effective coverage though?
