    if you do some research on ways of legally/safely collecting entrance fees and distributing prize money, we can try to get something rolling

    w/ all due respect, i dont think this is the way to go. first, entrance fees would significantly cut down the amount of people playing. second, correct me if i'm wrong on the logisticsbut it seems more effective to have a decent amount of cash as a prize and advertising the tournament on reddit/ps/fb/twitter, which would bring a ton more people to the site (newbies and old dudes comin back to try and make some $ alike), meaning more ad revenue for the site and a win/win for everyone.

    I asked for information about all types of money exchange so we could come up with a plan for money tournaments, I didn't propose pay-to-play. Even tournaments with cash prizes require us to transfer the money somehow. I doubt we're going to send it to the winner in an envelope.
