Re: your Weighted Stats thread, I like your idea. Frankly, I feel weird that my scrub teams affect the stats at all. For a long time I used lead Ninjask and an Iron Ball Fling Hariyama but no Rocks. Awful stuff, but it still gotme a CRE of ~1100. It's a very different metagame that I feel should not impact policies for players above 1400 or 1500.

I think using just winning teams makes sense too. Doug objects, and I understand his point, but I see it differently. During high activity the "winning stats" will look more like plain "usage stats" (since everyone will win about 50%), so at the worst we only go half-way to a proper weighting--better than nothing. I also can't imagine this bias matters for the majority of players in the middle of the ladder who win and lose 50% of the time no matter how active it is.

Anyway, sorry for using your message space as a soapbox. I just think your topic's fascinating. Even we scrubs read and enjoy the threads in Policy Review, so keep it up! :)
