    This is why IMDb should just forget about weighted votes. Their ratings do actually mean something - unlike Common Sense Media - but I'm practically convinced that the majority of 'Top 1000 Voters' are either spammers, robots, or both.

    Now that I think of it, a much less exploitable method would be to base the top 1000 voters on having the most people who found your review helpful. This is probably far less exploitable - considering how tedious it would be to get a bunch of alts. Even then, I'd still rather have no weighted votes at all.

    The attention to detail in it too gives it a little less of a cartoony feel and actually makes it feel like an anime, as weird as that sounds. Sometimes, when I'm watching it, I feel like I'm watching an anime, but it' actually a cartoon. When I first saw the portal in the finale of season 1, I was extremely impressed at what they did with it, even showing the other side (Even though this had plenty of potential, they kinda lazed on it with only showing space, when we KNOW there is another dimension that Stanford must have lived in for those 30 years and come out semi-perfectly fine.) The blend of colors in general is quite nice, and detailed for a show for "kids", compared to the other ones that look quite blobby. But, in this situation, I completely understand. Usually in the other cartoons, they pop up more frequently, but with Gravity Falls, that's most likely the biggest portal we'll ever see, if not the only one.
