I'm sure the person reading it can just look at the dex to find out that it's STAB and a spread move.

i'd say "gets STAB" is _acceptable_ because it does provide information (the dex info argument is correct too, i'd say it's a judgment call in most cases), but i mean the fact that it's a spread move is already mentioned by saying it hits both pokemon on the opposing side

well, it was on a recently uploaded analysis, and both GP checkers seem to have overlooked that, just like they overlooked "an unique" :0

Removing the second 'can' didn't seem to make a massive impact on the sentence.

yeah, he's right, structurewise that sentence discusses the lead set in its first half and the sand sweeper set in its second half, so trying to fuse those like you did here would make it feel unnatural :/ the second part is gonna require some more fixes though
