with meme magic (i.e. propaganda) you can sustain things for some time. You cannot take things by force--only by peace, breaking down people's resistance. Countries do it all the time to their own people; therefore it should not be hard to slowly do it to other countries as well. There are some cases of countries absorbing others

Yeah, I mean taking over the WHOLE world though, do you think that's possible? Within your own country you can control the information that goes around (say like North Korea) but not so much with country to country, especially with countries that have already experienced a degree of freedom. I feel at some point it will have to get militaristic though, people are going to catch on to the ideas. There are already quite a few modern day examples of people being quite hostile to foreign ideas.

that's why I'd estimate it would take about 400-500 years. But it would be possible.

400-500 years don't you think people will catch on in that time period though.
