what are the comics about?

standard Godzilla monster fight/alien invasion plot, it is about a team of kaiju researchers that go around to document kaiju sightings. after the supreme court ruling in 2015 they posted artwork revealing that two of the main characters were lesbian for each other which was like totally random lol

i dunno, some kind of supreme court ruling that they had secret lesbian fanart on file and the freedom of information act court ordered them to release all their lesbian art

Like comic books have never had a problem with gay characters; some have been quite successful, so idk why they would release art of 2 previously unknown charcters as gay for each other after a ruling when they could have done them long before; hence why I thought the ruling was some criminal info case

What? Did I miss some totally awesome lesbian, girl-on-girl subcontext? I gotta see this!
