What advantage does it have over film in your opinion. It always seemed to me like you made a comic if you couldn't afford to make a film.
I guess the one thing I will say is that you can afford to make your images highly stylized. There are a lot of comics that I don't see working if they were animated, like it would be mad uncanny valley but it works as drawings with the motion simply implied.

well yeah, not EVERYTHING can be a film. graphic novels are more expansive and free because it's like an indie film but doesnt be constrained by budgets and big films have to be marketed
