Why do you think it will make money?

It's not anime enough to be mainstream and have some kind of "need" to make money. People don't care about uncanny valley, so if the critics like it it will draw people, and it looks like it will be a good action film regardless

It does not look that good to me but we'll see. I think even properties people are familiar with are having a rough time. If Wrinkle in Time and Tomb Raider did REALLY well, then I'd think this one might do okay, but I don't have much faith atm.

Its not being pushed as THE HIT MOVIE like were, tho, I think that gives it a certain edge
