Ok, so I rechecked. You have the moltres listed Ut, which is good, but the celebi is not. What level is it? That was the missing info I was looking for.
I forgot to ask, but are the moltres and celebi UT still?

unfortunately no riley eggs, except for an adamant spread that was shiny in my pearl ROM. Main problem with trading over riley eggs would be that they'd not show as received from Riley if was traded over anyways.
only other pokemon I have for EV training really is a jolly chimchar with 252 attack/speed, 6 HP.

Yeah, it's best on an offensive team where you need to get Spikes up quickly. For a Defensive team, Skarmory is better.
ya they make it sound real hard. after you start rnging, you can move on to rng breeding. that's pretty much it.
after you do this five times, you can start rnging. you won't have to do this ever again(on this cartridge). and yes, just rare candy it to about lv. 50. you could keep plugging in the stats until it works. the reason that the higher the better is because its trying to find the ivs. you could try to plug it in at lv. 20, but you'll get a lot of possible seeds. if you narrow the pokemons ivs down, eventually, there will only be 1 option.
I'm confused! SO what is the significance of pressing A? I should reset and catch a pokemon each time, being sure to check the seed by putting in the exact time I hit continue?
that's not necessary. rngreporter will tell you the seconds after you enter in the pokemons stats. all you have to do is keep pressing A until you're actually in the game, not just at the continue screen(the last time you press A is to press A to continue).
whoa now im confused. did you synchronize your clock with the seconds clock?
yes, but you can't soft reset while an action replay is in. rare candying will work though, especially since you don't even need to save afterwards.
