I see, moving up and down on the continue screen can affect your delay range, ie it's another method to hit an even delay when your calibrated is odd. In short, it's best not to do it unless you know what you're doing, but imo there are much easier way to go about it that's more accurate anyways, XD.

Roamers are actually good to have on the map actually, XD. They're an easy way to tell if you hit your delay :P

If your delays are consistently even while catching but consistently odd when calibrating, I'd go with the former since that's what's working :P. I imagine you didn't do anything funky while waiting for the timer to run to zero, ie move the cursor up and down on the continue screen or have a GBA game in the slot of your Lite one time and not the other.

AH! I that is confusing, XD. So your degree will be with social anthropology but your life work in the future and what your research/dissertation is about is cultural, XD. I just took an intro class to it since I thought it'd be semi-fun and it was one of the art pre-reqs I had to take for pharmacy, ahaha. I did not like it as I hoped I would, XD.

Herm, don't bother with adjacent results...do you have roamers out? Roamer verification first and then do elm calls. If you're not sure and want to be positive with it, catch a pokemon and input its values into seed finder to find your true delay :) And trust me, using toastplusone's timer wll net you what you want.

No, it's normally not normal to hit both even and odd delays. Don't use pikatimer though, use toastplusone's timer. It's MUCH better. And HG/SS is easier than DPPT! :P At least I feel so - once you get things figured out, it's simpler :)

If you still need it, calibration is off. I can almost guarantee it. Use +/-50 and 14 seconds.

Cart = cartridge. I don't play pokemon on an emulator or one of those flash carts, I buy them so I have no file I can easily transfer it to. If I had one of those, I'd just send you over my file of my pokes and call it a day, ahaha.

As much as I'd love to have a Suicune, having them with my OT and via my own RNG is once of those things I'd really like to keep intact from my previous plans :) Suicune has been my fav legendary for as long as it has existed so getting my own "army" of Suicunes is one of my goals :D (Although since the arrival of Darkrai it's kinda sharing that top spot :P)

Hitting your delay twice for something is bleh, haha. Capturing is easier and you get to be a bit creative with the ball choice...the problem is egg moves but *shrugs* aside from VGCs, haha...not much point imo. Most battles are PO or you can just sav it if you don't have it...

And the reason I asked you to pick something with my OT is I really don't know where my non OT pokes are, lol. Ever since I started to RNG, I've been decreasing a bit on trading other pokes haha. If you want a Suicune, I can give you the timid nonshiny one - that one's transferred to my Pt - the shiny ones are still on my SS :/

So far, we have, Larvitar, Scyther, Gastly, Milotic, Ditto - feel free to make it 6pokemon and add in one more that I RNGd myself, lol. Note that I'd rather you pick something that's on my platinum game so we don't have to switch in and out, haha. Look at my thread, a majority of all my pokes are on my Pt :).

I can give you a bred Tyranitar that I did as a BP for someone, a Scyther (I don't have the item to evolve it) that I caught in a luxury ball, a Gastly that I caught - either shiny or nonshiny but with HP Fire but if you want a gengar then it's gonna be the shiny one, I don't have any Gibles lol, and I can give you a shiny Milotic that I bred no problem. :)

Dittos for me is hard since I quit breeding, lol...but I think it's somewhere. Just have to find it. Though a flawless one is good enough - you can do RNG breed without having to rely on HP Dittos...but a capture project that I'm eventually gonna do is a dive ball shiny HP electric Ditto, haha. And with RNG, you shouldn't ask for just any random copy :P. It is Smogon after all...I don't have junk pokes, XD. Erm...remind me later tonight and we'll do the trade :)

I wouldn't say it's for nothing, ahaha. It's the same as any game, unless you're getting real money from it, it's all considered, to some certain extent, "wasted" hours. I would never consider it wasted though, ahaha. If you're enjoying your time and it makes you smile, it can never be wasted :)
