hey I still haven't fixed the issue. I called my router's tech support today and they did everything they could and it still isn't fixed so I'm calling Nintendo wifi support tomorrow. I'll get in touch with you (and a bunch of others who I've failed to connect with) as soon as I get it all taken care of. It's frustrating, believe me.

sorry that I didn't stay and try a few more times, but 1. I've never had a successful connection where I was the host and 2. I've never had a successful connection with someone that wasn't the first attempt. So yeah, that's why I didn't try to host.
