if u want to try RU with the new tier changes here's a fun team i made. hazard stacking with timid iron thorns and a lot of offense and cycling to take advantage of hazards and sand chip. h-zoro is a funny spin blocker with illusion. i have literally never built for or even played RU until today so idk how objectively good it is. felt pretty strong in testing though.

I think Infernape could carve a niche as a gambit check as it will always live a sucker punch at +2 and 5 fallen with the given evs, it has access to vacuum wave, an overheat that will always kill as long as they don’t tera fire, and switcheroo to play around potential suckers

This time I got a solid Ttar Sand Balance. This mon is extremely slept on in the current meta as after it got Knock off, it's a beast. This set takes on popular playstyles like Veil, Sun Wake, Rain, Non EQ Moon, Gholdengo etc, and surprisingly, Gliscor is a favourable matchup to the point you can switch into it and proceed to defeat him.

I wanted to make punching gloves work since it’s so good for it but there’s hardly any rocky helmet in the tier so choice band is preferred. Empoleon is a xerneas and kyogre check with tera and also allows us to safely come in on defog users and threaten them with strong ice beams.
