The Gouging Fire is EVed to live Burned +1 Great tusk, Burned +2 Kingambit, Specs IValiant, Burned RMoon, and Walking Wake after tera. The Thunderous Therian is mixed to 2hko Hoodra. The others are just standard sets, though I'm thinking of replacing IValiant with IMoth or IBoulder

Tentacruel is supposed to be tera Dragon

My main issue here is that you're mixing playstyles. The Deoxys, Kingambit, and Iron Valiant fit a Hyper Offense team, the Tentacruel and Gouging Fire fit a bulkier team, and the Thundurus set is more of an Offense pokemon than an HO pokemon.

Better, but the Roaring Moon is out of place. You have a random sweeper in the middle of a balance team, that's almost never a good idea, especially if the sweeper has no recovery.

What role should the pokemon that replaces Roaring Moon be?

Depends on what your team is struggling with. I would guess breaking, so I'd add something with immediate power. Maybe even a CB Roaring Moon.

What about banded Hoopa-Unbound or specs Thundurus Therian?

Both could potentially work, I recommend testing and seeing which works best.
