Eevee is done. I spent the day getting the pokes necessary to complete the Sinnoh dex so I could get the national, and Mr. Backlot decided to be convenient and lied that he had eevees the first time I talked to him. :-)
I have finished breeding Grimer. Still need to work on Sandshrew
I have about 60 pokes to view to complete the local dex on Platinum and get the national. Shouldn't take that long to do, what with access to GBA games and the other DS games. I should be able to RNG the eevee in a few more days.

Is sandshrew being used for little cup or does it need to have rapid spin bred onto it. Think it learns the move naturally at lv13 or something
