Looks are merely perception: someone can look really good to person A, while person B sees this same someone as not at all good looking. I meant the soup haha. No need to fry when you can microwave water for a couple of minutes and have the hot water cook the Ramen noodles; it's simple yet tasty, but it could use some fillers like real beef, chicken, vegetables (I guess) etc. lol. I don't even think you can consider it a figurative gate because bad people don't have boundaries -_- . The imperfect world we live in now is a shame. Too bad we can't live in a world of Pokemon (although it's not perfect; it seems more peaceful than ours). I'd settle for Utopia.

Frying stuff is a start; I can pretty much cook breakfast and that's about it, but at least you know how to fry =) Ramen noodles for the win - more flavors, more fun! Well, the thing is, there have been some reports of incidents during the DAY (e.g. someone got robbed on a Sunday afternoon once), but the night has the highest occurrences and the least chance for any bystanders to be around to help or see you. Also, there are NO gates so yeah...

Yeah, home cooking is good as long as some dishes don't get served every week. Eating out is fun, but it gets old after a while too. I get tired of food fast lol. At least you can cook; you should hone your skills! I'd rather not risk being stuck at school at later hours as a precautionary. I hope you don't mind me asking, but what is your nationality anyway?

Perhaps you should try ubers then lol. I only battle OU for now, but I'll let you use one uber if you go by one of my personal clauses. I think my mother goes to HK, but she definitely goes to Viet Hoa as one of her stops. I'm Filipino American; I say both because I consider myself both, but more on the American side since I was born and raised in the U.S. Haha I understand how you feel; I wouldn't even feel safe at a party even though I'm a dude. It's hard to trust strangers -_- . Neither, I live at home with the family and commute every day. It's not a big deal in the morning, but in the afternoon I have to deal with traffic; 4:00+ PM is traffic time. I have classes that end at 3:50 and at 5:20.

I don't mean to scare you, but the UH area is surrounded by the ghetto neighborhoods and stuff. Crimes happen every so often, but USUALLY at late hours and the outer areas of campus. So far I've been safe so it's all good. Chinatown is located on and around Bellaire (the street) now; that's where we shop for some of our groceries and stuff. Wow, you can almost walk to a club [I think]. Random question: do you like to battle?

I started today! I had no idea UH had a good Pharmacy school. Yeah, if you go to UH next year, that would be cool to meet you; I need more Pokemon friends in real life haha. My friends started to rag on me about pokemon today. They think it's all about sitting down with the DS and only playing the game by itself; they're so naive lol. Yeah, ATX is like party city for college students; don't even get me started on downtown Houston. So many one way streets, the directions are whack, it's like a maze, the crime rate is high over there, etc. I bet it's worse than Austin, but I would think all cities have the same problems -_-

The suburbs are all around Houston if i'm correct. I'm in the SW area, but I'm not exactly sure if you can call these suburbs towns or part of Houston. I would think that UT started the same time as UH, but don't you like it over there in ATX?

Wow, this is crazy! I don't actually live in Houston since my family moved recently, but we're in suburbia lol. I wonder if you could be one of my neighbors haha.
