For captures, I'd suggest only doing +20 frames from your target if your comp can't handle the 10k frames it's manually set to >.<

What do you mean? I don't see how that's a problem? The main screen isn't going to tell you the date, the time, the delay. Just the IV's. As long as you're under the HGSS Breeding tab.

Okay, what you might want to do also, is do something along the lines of "any nature" shiny, with your ID/SID. Set it to not exact Iv's and hit 0 for all of them, and it should come up with ALL your shiny spreads.

Choose one you like, and just start with that for now.

The format will look like this: PID: 180153f7 (MODEST, ability 1) 14/22/18/15/23/31 (Seed: 47030f48 Method 1: 77, J (synch): 6, J (no synch): 8, K (synch): 8, K (no synch): 38) HP ICE 70

PID is irrelevant to you at this point, it'll be Nature followed by Ability 0 or 1. Which just means, if it has more than 1 ability, which it will come out to being. If it only has 1 ability, it will end up being only that ability it can have.
Next is your seed, which is what you'll Copy + Paste into RNG reporter. Next is followed by Method 1 (synch and non), Method J's, and K's frames.

Synchs are Pokes with the nature Synchronize. Which are some of the following; Mew, Ralts, things such as that.

After you filled out all of the data, it will start to process all of it, and find all of your spreads for what you put in. Where ever the program is located, a Wordpad document will be created being named "Spreads" (Say wichu's program is on your desktop, the document will be created on your desktop, or if it's in a folder, it will be created in a folder, etc...). Once it's all finished, open up the document and look at all the spreads that it found for you.

Any ways, now to give you a heads up. Capture projects are a lot different than breeding. Shinies with good IV's + nature are harder to find, but you can find practically any IV set with any nature for non-shiny captures.

So open up Wichu's program. It'll be in a Command Prompt box. Input the various info it asks. Nature, Shiny (Y/N), ID/SID (only if shiny), Hidden Power's power (hit enter, if you don't want any), Hidden Power type (if you typed in a HP's power), Exact IV's (Y/N)[Since you're just starting I suggest not, unless if you're not doing a shiny catch], HP/Atk/Def/SpAtk/SpDef/Spe (IV"s you desire to have), Min Delay (I'd put your min delay for breeding, but can be the lower delay you can hit), Max Delay (I just put 10,000. As more of the good captures are 3,000/4000+ delays).
