Right? The Smog is really lenient on that point though. I think as long as it's not a sprite or a voltorb drawn in paint, it counts as a "complicated piece." The Smog is pretty lenient about art.
You only need to draw 3 complicated pieces (though they can't all be for the same issue) to get the badge first. I've drawn 4 so far, so I need at least 4 more.
Apparently ones gained through The Smog though aren't permanent until you've drawn 8+ pieces for the magazine. Well, I have no intention to stop drawing for the smog regardless so . . .

I ask because I get my own internet connection next year thus making it far easier for me to use shoddy, IRC etc and mafia was something I am slightly interested in. Also I did see you in 2 mafias recently so I thought you might be able to offer advice with this
