If you hit an odd frame, then you will continue to hit odd frames. You can either: change the year (up or down one), put a 3rd gen game in the GBA slot on ds or when your going to press continue, scroll down to mystery gift and wifi settings and what not then scroll up and it should change from odd to even (but i have never tried it...) i can trade now if you can.
