I use Paint Tool SAI and Photoshop. SAI for outlines and Photoshop for colours and everything else.

Apparently that simulator's 5th gen engine had a logic bomb in it (some sort of virus) but I've heard from others that this was fixed, or just a hoax. Look around for yourself.
Later in the thread it's shown that there are options to play without that initial team show, iirc.
I put an article in the Smog a while ago about Advance, read it if you're interested. It's easier to learn, probably, but also less useful!

It's Advance, which is the generation before D/P. I can teach you that, but it's a different sim, different mindset, etc. You should join if Advance interests you, of course.

Yeah, enter as many tournements as you can. You never know which ones you can be successful in. Also, I am back into battling. ;o

All tournaments in the Tournaments forum are ShoddyBattle based unless noted otherwise (exceptions can be tournaments on older gens). The ones in the WiFi Tournaments forum are obviously over WiFi.
Always, always join a tournament if you feel like joining. I am not sure what exactly is coming up, but this thread should give you a heads up on that. There's gimmick and non-gimmick tournaments in store: non-gimmicks give you practice in the game as it is, gimmicks test your more conventional ways of team building and battling. -
