Well, it's good to have an UT version for future reference because sets, EV spreads, etc. change over time. That's completely up to you though.
I'm not sure what you mean by using him faster, but if you're worried about messing up then you should keep tabs during the EV training process. Yeah, school is such an inconvenience. I'm sure you can find other cloners around.

EV training complete. You can pick her up when you like. I like to put the icing on the cake so i invested 2 extra evs to gain the effort ribbon. Doesnt matter really
