Lol...don't feel bad. I did the exact same thing a month ago. I bred about 7 or 8 pretty good Pokes for Black, without RNGing, in my opinion. Right now I have a spread for a HP Ground 68 and one for a flawless Brave set as well! I am shooting for a flawless Special/Attack spread right now though...

Rock on. I hope you find the same spread. I am actually kind of happy that RNG works the way it does right now. It will keep many of the noobs away due to the fact that there won't be any IMMEDIATE results like in the 4th gen. It is good that you are getting an AR because I would hate to see you sit there and do the trainer ID method that Omega developed! That thing is tedious!!!

Well, mattj is right but I think you may have misunderstood him. What you got can be got again and all you have to do is hit your seed again. What he was saying is that you may not get the same IVs passed on by the parents again though...as an example lets say this is what your spread was that you obtained before: Parent one=A Parent two=B

A/31/B/14/29/B You can most definately get that exact set of IVs again but it is likely that you wont get the same IVs passed on from the parents...you may get something like this:

3/31/A/A/29/B

This happens because you could have hit a different frame then when you were mass breeding from before. Your best bet is to get an ARDSi so that you can use the IVRNG check code that mattj and I are using. Or use the Rom you were talking about. Just go to DATEL and download the update for the ARDSi so that you can use the codes. If you need any more help just PM me or find me on mibbit. mattj has the links for both.

You're very welcome. Just so it's not misunderstood though, the initial seed is generated by the Date/Time to the second, not just minute. And yes. I did this without an AR and good LORD it was tedious!

Yeah, your initial seed is determined the moment you select your game on the DS Startup screen. Everything after that is frames. If you'd want to get those exact same IVs/Nature/Whatever, you'd have to do what you described, which I think is a bit unrealistic. However, it's not really hard to Reset for good egg IVs. All you need is for the game to generate 2 31s. Just within the first arbitrary 10 seconds I reset on, I came across a 28 / B / A / x / 31 / A seed, which would produce "almost flawless" physical mons. I'm still resetting onward hoping to get a 31 where that 28 is, but I think you see, it's not that terribly hard to find a completely usable seed.

I can help you with that RNG breeding...sort of. You need to have an idea of the minute that you hit when you got this good spread. Then you need to reset on every possible second until you get the spread again. It will take a while but if you have an idea of when that will make it much faster.Especially with Kaphotics MTIVRNG check code...
