Oh just a little note, from the level of your scyther I can tell you did it pre-nat dex, and I did mine post on a thursday, so it doesn't look the day or whatever has any effect (which it shouldn't). At least that is consistent, lol.

Haha no I wouldn't mind. I'd do it myself but since it's basically resetting and playing through an entire game on a cart it's kind of pointless since I'd be only catching one thing with the spread. I may eventually go back and try to look for other natures of scyther, and attempt to find a pinsir also. Of course that would be much easier to do with an emulator :P It took a fairly long time to find that scyther though so I haven't tried it since.

It doesn't make a difference. The seed can be different, all it really does is change the delay and the frame where you find the target IV spread. My seed was 1d130f57, frame 144 if I noted it correctly.

Yeah, that's the one. I had a different seed but it's the same PID. I don't have a flashcart so I can't readily abuse ID/SID combos or use save states so the bcc is fairly annoying lol.

Yup. One of the IVs will be randomly changed. But it's still on the same PID so it's not much of a trouble.
The nature and ability varies. It depends on what frame you hit. Also, using an everstone to hit the right nature and power item helps.
So, if you hit the right nature and IVs but a different ability, you have to find another frame with the right ability.
Check out the RNG Research thread. It will be a big help.
You'll have to save on the nature.

What zack said is correct. Just take note of the day, and time.
Basically. Get two pokemon. Say parent a has 1/1/1/1/1/1 and parent b has 0/0/0/0/0/0. Set the clock to any time and start 60 seconds. At 0 start the game and get through the game intro quickly. Pick up and hatch the egg. Now the egg has ivs of 1/31/1/31/0/31(example). This means your spread is A/31/A/31/B/31. Now go back and put in different parents to fit the As and Bs. Go back to the exact date and time and keep reseting until you get your spread.
