Oh.. well I just know that's what worked for me. When I starting, I didn't know about any guides or anything. I saw the bearsfan videos, which helped, but they weren't that much to go on. The calibration process confused me completely since nothing was ever the same and it took so long. The end result was vague at best. After that I realized that there was no reason I couldn't use a timer for it in the first place. That made sense to me. When you break it down to what it really is, I think the catch and check method is really the "shortcut" way since it's the how without the why. Just my opinion. I do understand why you did it the way you did though.
I was thinking about writing one just so there is one. Not sure if I have the motivation though. I have no idea where to put it either?
