Nope. It's got Mold Breaker as an alternative. True, I could mooch off of my opponent's sandstorm, but when it's not up, it's worthless.

Nattorei can do that to an extent with Power Whip.

But Burungel can Spin-block Starmie and stall out LO variants with Recover.

I think that if Skarmory Roosts itself back to full health, Sturdy resets, but it stops working if Skarmory takes damage prior to being KOed

Pickup: if the opponent uses a one-time item in battle (like Berries), the user takes the item as its own if it's not holding one. It can also catch items thrown at it by Fling, but only if it's not holding an item.

Stench: may cause the opponent to flinch when it's hit by a damaging move.

It's "PlatinumDude." Remember that.

And Fire ones, too. Skarmory can also Roost twice so that Sturdy can be used again.

I don't think that Specs Starmie is a good idea because of Shedinja. When you're in the Hall, you're bound to run into Shedinja; the stage 1 or 2 Bug or Ghost may turn out to be that. Specs Yanmega is better; this is what I used:

Your Treecko's ready. I only let it battle an Ursaring (with switching and KOing it with a stronger Pokemon of course) in order to check its approximate IVs, and all the stats bar Special Defense are in the 20 range (Speed is 30).

Try challenging the other facilities; I got the Gold print in the Battle Hall, too. That's the point of the Frontier, right? For the Battle Hall, Choice items are good because you're using only 1 Pokemon.

I'm not sure, but my guess is around the end of the year in the afternoon (Dec. 31 or Jan. 1) because this is one of the rare times I have access to a hotspot. I am using Wi-Fi now; it's just that I can't connect my DS to it. And I can't guarantee you that the Treecko will have the right IVs and nature.

Did you use the same team you mentioned in the blog?

I got past Palmer in the rematch (49th Battle Tower battle). I used Scizor, Gyarados and Electivire. I won mainly because I got lucky with Gyarados' Waterfall's flinch chance against Regigigas.
