  • It's alright; let's try to move on forward now. You have yet to choose a beginning seed in the "Shiny Egg" tab lol. Let me know when you finally get a usable seed.
You must have an old computer or something. If it doesn't find it, then you should just download it again. I don't see why it's taking this long -_-
When you download it, make sure you save it to your desktop; that's how. Usually that works if you drag it from the menu.

I'm not sure what kind of operating system you have, but if it's Windows, then all you do is click on Start (or the Windows icon if you have Windows 7 or Vista), highlight All Programs, and then look through all the programs.
Well, as long as you put effort and invest some time into learning RNG, then you'll get it!

That's why you should've saved it on your desktop. Maybe you can look through your menu of programs while it's searching. You could always download it again and save it on your desktop this time.
It's a Java program, but you can find programs by clicking on Start on your computer and typing "Pikatimer" in to the search bar.

No problem: I just hope you're as patient as I am. I was battling earlier (4 battles), which is why my responses were slow.
Calling Elm tells you if you hit the correct seed. You need to advance the frames to hit the correct nature, ability, and gender. Call him 9 times.
Like I said: don't worry about the IVs until you get the shiny/non-shiny egg. Also, you either can only hit even or odd delays unless you change the year +/- 1.
You don't necessarily need an odd frame, but a low even frame should be fine.

Any pokemon you want; we just need to help you figure out RNG. How about a jolly Riolu?
Well, that's your problem: you need to look under the "Shiny Egg" tab using Time Finder for your starting seed and first delay. Yes, a screencap would be nice.
You need to make sure you have a nice range for the delays. A range of 100-200 should be enough. I don't see why you can't find delays when you can find seeds.
Under the "Shiny Eggs" tab make sure you fill out all the correct information and check the box for HGSS shiny egg even if you don't want a shiny egg. Look for a delay you can hit (odd or even) with a frame of 1 or an odd one. If you want a non-shiny, then input the wrong ID/SID combo intentionally. Do you have AIM or MSN? It will be much faster and easier to help you there.
That's for when you need to breed for egg IVs; in HGSS breeding you actually need to hit your delay/date/seconds twice: the 1st time is for the shiny egg and nature and the 2nd time is for egg IVs. For the 1st time the lowest frame or a low odd frame is ideal. For the 2nd one, I recommend a frame of 10-20. Yeah, A = first parent put in the daycare; B = the 2nd parent put in the daycare.
Neither of them. You're not supposed to use Method 2 for HGSS breeding. To find spreads for HGSS breeding you must look in Time Finder under the "Shiny Egg" tab.
I'm not sure how to calibrate with Pikatimer and 50 seconds sounds like too much, but if the guide says it, then go ahead. Yeah, wanted delay = target delay of the seed.

You find what seed you hit by inputting the IVs into Seed Finder's "Find Seed by IVs" tab.
The first timer is for when you should press "Yes" on the AR screen that says "Boot Games with Codes?" and the 2nd timer is for when you should press A on the continue screen. Don't worry about the technicalities or terms, just the doing part lol.
Pikatimer can be downloaded while you are calibrating. Yeah, finding out your average delay and Seconds readings is the first step. Be sure to always use the same AR codes though.
No problem, I've been EV training for a long time now. Glad I could help, but I'm supposed to be helping you with learning RNG, not EV training!
All right; just hurry. I might havebto leave. Again.
And i might not go to japan.
Kip, i can trade in a little bit. Just wait
I owe you a mew, and other things right?
I guess your wanting to be taken more seriously and treated as more of an adult made you that way. Something along those lines.

I recently got one like that from someone named Lawliett. The OT is Kurt, which is kaphotics and it's a shiny, naive Heatran with HP Grass. Actually, power items add 4 EVs to whichever stat they pertain to.
I guess the only way to find out is how he compares with other players then.

Haha, that's difficult to believe and funny at the same time. Our society needs a great deal of mature people nowadays.

Yeah, it's more on the side of it being trade worthy or not. I just prefer to have it clean. 6 EVs is okay as long as the other EVs are correct, but I cannot stand 255 / 255 EVs at all; there's an unusual abundance of pokemon like that on threads. I received a few pokemon like that before and it angered me, especially when one of them was level 100.
