Well that was a good game. If the paralysis didnt happen, and the two crits did not happen, then it would have been at my favor... But i was lucky with the stone edge crit, but stone edge has a high crit ratio, and +4 swords dance would have fainted dusk anyway... :(

This set is a lead to pass a subsititute and cause major Damage to fragile leads.
Thunder is opted for because timid jolteon just doesnt pack enough power for a thunder bolt
Chouce specs is also opted for instead of these items.

Brave Bird | Taunt | Toxic | Superfang
EV: 234 HP | 56 Def | 76 Special Defense | 144 Speed

These sets are supposed to break other focus sash, Dent Walls, toxic walls, and cause general mayhem to the team. I sometimes use these leads.

Lead, Tank/Utility, Physical Attacker, Special Attacker, Special Wall

Oh, and i like these questions. What you say helps me think, and make better sets.
If you can think of any more counters and problems, it all helps!

Yeah. Or instead of agility, you can switch for bullet punch, and dump all of your speed EV's into attack or special defense

This would be a real anti lead...

remember, this set is meant to be an Anti Stall, and an Anti Lead.

Meaning you start with metagross, and use him to counter leads.
Physical Azelf Lead? Pursuit.
Mix Azelf lead? Pursuit.
Physical Jirachi Lead? Pursuit/Earthquake.
Special Jirachi Lead? Pursuit/Earthquake.
Special Celebi Lead? Pursuit.
Having a bulky lead guarntees survivability.

The thing is, with metagross extra bulk and defenses from impish nature, meta can stay in longer. Most of the time, you do not need 405 Attack. That is too much.
360 does the job nicely, and you can get a attack boost from meteor mash.

Having extra bulk means that metagross can compete with the other Tanks/Stalls.
Though will-o-wisp will cripple metagross.
So another option is to use Safeguard, heall bell support, substitute, or heatran support.

After Agility, Metagross's Speed becomes 330; It is able to outsepeed Jolly/Hasty/Naive/Timid Base 100 Speed pokemon with 252 Speed Investment.
This is amazing.

This set can tank all hits, and gain 20 HP every round from Leftovers.
